Age limits

• Clinical specialties: up to 45 years
• Pre-clinical / Para-clinical subjects: up to 50 years

Educational qualifications

• MD / MS / DNB / DM / MCh / M.Sc. + Ph.D. in relevant medical subjects, as applicable to the department.
• All candidates must satisfy eligibility as per NMC TEQ 2025 read with MSR/PGMER 2023 as of the interview date.

• Notification issue date: 17 June 2026
• Walk-in Interview - Day 1: 8 July 2026 (Wednesday)
• Walk-in Interview - Day 2: 9 July 2026 (Thursday)
• Document verification: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM on both days
• Result publication: on the ESIC official website

Application fee

• UR/OBC/EWS: ₹500 (Demand Draft only) in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. 1", payable at Chennai. DD must be issued after 17-06-2026.
• SC/ST/PwD/Women/Ex-Servicemen: Nil.

Mode of payment

Demand Draft only. Cash, UPI, or online payment is not accepted.

Additional instructions

• The engagement is contractual for 3 years under the 7th CPC pay structure. Private practice is strictly prohibited during tenure.
• PwBD: 17 posts reserved horizontally; minimum 40% disability required, certified by a government Medical Board.
• A security deposit of ₹30,000 via Demand Draft is payable at joining and forfeited if resignation/termination occurs within 1 year.
• Joining is immediate on offer; contract can be terminated with one month’s notice from either side.
• Attendance must be marked manually and via Aadhaar-enabled Biometric authentication (AEBAS).
• Registration with Tamil Nadu Medical Council must be completed within 30 days of joining.
• Candidates may apply to only one post at a time (cross-specialty applicability exists for Emergency Medicine and PMR).
