Age Limits (as on date of interview)

• Specialist: Less than 69 years
• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per rules)
• Super Specialist (Cardiology): Not exceeding 69 years
• Senior Resident (Against GDMO): Not exceeding 45 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per rules)

Educational Qualifications

Full Time/Part Time Specialist

PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university, with 3 years of experience after acquiring the PG Degree, or 5 years of experience after the Diploma.

Senior Resident

PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university. Non-PG candidates require 2 years of working experience in the relevant department.

Super Specialist (Cardiology)

Post-Graduation qualification in the concerned specialty, registered with the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council, along with a DM/M.Ch in the super specialty.

Senior Resident (Against GDMO)

PG Degree/Diploma or MBBS from a recognised university, with at least 2 years of working experience in the same discipline.

Important Dates

• Notification issued: 19 August 2026
• Walk-in Interview: 09 September 2026 (Wednesday)
• Reporting Time: 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM
• There is no online application deadline; candidates must report in person with all documents on the interview day.

Application Fee

Important Instructions

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining.
• Selected candidates must pay a security deposit of Rs. 50,000 by Demand Draft in favour of "ESIC Fund Account No. 1" payable at Baddi; refundable after contract completion with a No Dues Certificate.
• An agreement on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100 will be executed at joining.
• The competent authority reserves the right to fill up any or all posts without assigning reasons.
• Vacancies may change depending on actual requirements at the time of interview.
• The engagement is contractual and does not guarantee regular appointment.
• No service benefits (PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, etc.) are admissible.
• Hostel accommodation, quarters, and uniforms are not provided.
• Absence without permission for 15 days is treated as abandonment of the contract.
• Part-time specialists have no entitlement to certain leaves; minimum 16 hours per week.
• PH category reservation applies for candidates with 40% or more disability, with valid certificate.
• NBEMS accreditation for DNB courses at ESIC MH Baddi is currently under process.
