Age limits

• Teaching Faculty (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor): up to 69 years (not exceeding).
• Senior Resident (Clinical Subjects): up to 44 years; Non-clinical/Laboratory Science subjects: up to 49 years.
• Age relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC as applicable with certificate.
• Maximum tenure: up to 70 years for Teaching Faculty; 45 years (clinical) or 50 years (non-clinical) for Senior Residents.

Eligibility (TEQ) requirements

• Educational qualification must align with the National Medical Commission (NMC) / Medical Council of India (MCI) Teachers Eligibility Qualifications (TEQ) as amended.
• Posts include Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Senior Resident across multiple disciplines.
• Additional department-specific provisions apply, including eligibility for Emergency Medicine, Chest Department, ICU (Assistant Professor), and Senior Residency requirements as noted in the official notification.
• Alternate eligibility routes (MD/MS/DNB or PG Diploma with experience) exist for certain posts, subject to specific conditions.

Application Fee

• General/Other Categories: ₹500
• SC/ST/Female/ESIC (Regular Employee)/Ex-Servicemen & PH: Nil
• Fee is payable via Demand Draft in favor of ESI Fund Account No. 2, SBI Panjim, Goa. The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

How to Apply and Documents

• Walk-in (offline) interviews are conducted with duly filled applications and required documents on the scheduled date.
• Online interviews require scanned applications and documents to be emailed to the provided ESIC email address before the deadline.
• Separate applications must be submitted for each post in the prescribed format.
• Required documents typically include: birth certificate/age proof, MBBS/MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma certificates, category certificates (EWS/OBC/SC/ST/Divyangjan), State/NMC registration, experience and publication certificates, relieving certificate, Aadhaar card, and relevant biomedical research/ICMR certificates.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Abbreviated or incomplete applications will be rejected. All selections are subject to the institute’s discretion and terms in the appointment letter.
• Online interview candidates should email the scanned application to the specified address at least 1 day before the interview date and complete submission by 3:00 PM on 01.09.2026.
• Hotel or lodging arrangements are not provided by ESIC; candidates are advised to arrange their own accommodation if required.
