Age relaxation up to 5 years is provided for regular government employees meeting eligibility conditions.

Educational Qualifications

Research Engineer

• B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience in the specific specialization OR
• M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (with relevant specialization) and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 65% marks in the qualifying degree (60% for SC/ST candidates in reserved posts).
• Full-time regular degree from a UGC-recognized university or AICTE-approved institute.
• Ph.D. is desirable for Fluid Flow Research specialization.

Junior Research Engineer

• B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical/Electrical & Electronics, or Instrumentation-related Engineering (as per post code).
• Minimum 65% marks (60% for SC/ST candidates in reserved posts).
• Freshers may apply; no prior work experience required.
• Candidates awaiting final results may apply if they upload final marksheets/degree certificates by 31.08.2026 with an online undertaking.
• Bachelor’s degree must be a full-time regular 4-year programme after 10+2, or a lateral-entry 3-year programme after a Diploma, from a recognized institution.
