GBPUAT Recruitment 2026 Offline for 45 Associate Professor and Assistant Professor Posts

GBPUAT Associate Professor Qualification (General Teaching Disciplines, Agriculture, Community Science, Basic Sciences, Fisheries and Specified Technology)

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline or allied subject.
• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
• At least eight years of teaching or research experience in a position equivalent to Assistant Professor.
• A minimum of seven publications in peer‑reviewed, NAAS‑rated, or UGC‑listed journals.
• A minimum research score of 75 under the prescribed assessment criteria.

GBPUAT Associate Professor Qualification (Veterinary and Animal Sciences)

• Recognized basic veterinary qualification included in Schedule I or II of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.
• Registration with the State Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India.
• Ph.D. and Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks.
• At least eight years of eligible teaching or research experience.
• At least seven prescribed journal publications and a research score of 75.

GBPUAT Associate Professor Qualification (College of Technology - Serial Nos. 26 to 30)

• Ph.D. in the concerned discipline.
• First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
• At least six research publications in SCI, UGC, or AICTE‑approved journals.
• At least eight years of teaching, research, or industry experience.
• At least two years of experience after obtaining the Ph.D.

GBPUAT Assistant Professor Qualification (General Teaching Disciplines)

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject.
• NET conducted by UGC, ICAR, or CSIR, or an equivalent examination such as SLET or SET.
• Ph.D. holders may receive exemption from NET/SLET/SET under UGC regulations.

GBPUAT Assistant Professor Qualification (Veterinary and Animal Sciences)

• B.V.Sc. and A.H. degree.
• Registration with the State or Central Veterinary Council.
• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
• NET, SLET or SET qualification, or eligible Ph.D. exemption as per rules.

GBPUAT Assistant Professor Qualification (Technology - Serial Nos. 33 to 35)

• BE/BTech or BS and ME/MTech/MS, or Integrated MTech in the relevant branch, with first class or equivalent in at least one degree.

Application Fee

• OBC: Rs. 1,500
• SC/ST: Rs. 750

The fee must be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Comptroller, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. The DD may be payable at SBI (Branch Code 1133), PNB (Branch Code 4446), or UCO Bank (Branch Code 0678). The application fee is non‑refundable. Separate applications and fees are required for each post.

How to Apply

1. Download Employment Notice No. A-32/2026 from the official GBPUAT website.
2. Download the prescribed application form for the relevant post.
3. Complete all sections and affix a recent passport-size photograph.
4. Prepare a category‑wise Demand Draft for the application fee.
5. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents.
6. Sign every page of the application and annexures.
7. Place the filled application and enclosures in an envelope and write the post name, serial number, discipline, and college name on the envelope.
8. Send the application through Speed Post or Registered Post so that it reaches the university by 21 October 2026 up to 5:00 PM.

Note: Applications submitted via email, fax, or any other electronic mode will not be accepted.

Documents to include with the application are listed in the official notification and include items such as date of birth proof, degree certificates, NET/SLET/SET certificates (where applicable), Ph.D. certificate, publication evidence, scorecards, domicile certificates, and other supporting documents.
