Professor

• MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject as per TEQ Regulation of NMC Guidelines.
• 8 years of post-PG experience, including at least 3 years as Associate Professor in the subject at a permitted/recognised medical college or institution.
• At least four research publications (at least two as Associate Professor) in journals indexed in Medline, PubMed Central, Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index Expanded, Embase, Scopus, or DOAJ.
• Completion of the Basic Course in Medical Education Technology and the Basic Course in Biomedical Research, both from institutions designated by NMC.
• MBBS and additional qualification must be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council.

Associate Professor

• MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject as per TEQ Regulation of NMC Guidelines.
• 5 years of post-PG experience, including at least 4 years as Assistant Professor in the subject at a permitted/recognised medical college or institution.
• At least two research publications in journals indexed in Medline, PubMed Central, Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index Expanded, Embase, Scopus, or DOAJ.
• Completion of the Basic Course in Medical Education Technology and the Basic Course in Biomedical Research from institutions designated by NMC.
• MBBS and additional qualification must be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council.

Assistant Professor

• MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject as per TEQ Regulation of NMC Guidelines.
• For Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry departments, an MSc (relevant medical subject) and PhD (relevant medical subject) granted as a regular on-campus course by a recognised medical college/institute is also accepted.
• One year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject at a recognised/permitted medical college after acquiring the MD/MS degree.
• Non-medical teachers may be selected up to 15% of the total posts in a department, subject to non-availability of medical teachers.
• MBBS and additional qualification must be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council.

Assistant Professor - Non-Medical Faculty (Specific Specialties)

• Anatomy: MSc in Medical Anatomy with PhD in Medical Anatomy
• Biochemistry: MSc in Medical Biochemistry with PhD in Medical Biochemistry
• Physiology: MSc in Medical Physiology with PhD in Medical Physiology
• Pharmacology: MSc in Medical Pharmacology with PhD in Medical Pharmacology
• Microbiology: MSc in Medical Microbiology with PhD in Medical Microbiology

Senior Resident

• MD/MS/DNB/MDS in the concerned subject as per TEQ Regulation of NMC Guidelines.
• MBBS and additional qualification registered with the Telangana State Medical Council, or BDS and additional qualification registered with the Telangana Dental Council.

Tutor

• MBBS.
• MBBS must be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council.

Super Specialty Posts

• Eligibility for super specialty posts is per the Teacher's Eligibility Qualification guidelines under NMC.

Application fees

• There is no online application. Selection is through a walk-in interview. No application fee is mentioned in the notification.

Important instructions

• Engagement is purely temporary, up to 31.03.2027 or until the actual need ceases or regular posts are filled, whichever is earlier.
• Selected candidates are eligible for 15 days of leave in a calendar year on a cumulative basis.
• The contract does not confer any right to future Government appointment.
• The contract can be terminated with one month's notice during the tenure for any misconduct.
• Selected candidates may be deployed as required by the institute without additional remuneration.
• If a selected candidate breaches the one-year bond, three months’ salary may be payable as a penalty.
• Outside-state candidates must get their qualification registered with the Telangana State Medical Council within one week of selection for appointment confirmation.
• Bring original documents for verification at the time of interview, along with photocopies.
