HAL Management & Design Trainee Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 120 Posts

Age Details

• Upper age limit is 28 years as on 14-08-2026 for UR & EWS categories.
• Age relaxations apply as per Government rules for reserved categories (OBC-NCL/SC/ST/EWS).
• PwBD candidates receive an additional relaxation; ex-servicemen have specific relaxations as well. The overall maximum age can extend up to 56 years for PwBDs with applicable relaxations.

Eligibility Details

• Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
• Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent from a recognized University in the notified disciplines, under the 10+2+4 pattern (or 10+3+3 in case of lateral entry). Candidates with a diploma plus an engineering degree should enter the degree marks as qualifying marks.
• Important: Candidates with a Part-Time/Correspondence/Distant Education qualification are not eligible. Fresh or final-year students may apply subject to meeting the prescribed aggregate up to the last semester/year at the time of applying.
• Integrated Degree: Candidates with a 5-year Integrated Degree in the notified discipline are also eligible.
• Final Year/Final Semester: Those in final year/semester may apply, subject to meeting the minimum aggregate in the final degree at time of Interview (tentatively scheduled for September 2026).

Application Fee

• ₹500 (inclusive of GST) for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS categories.
• SC/ST/PwBD/Internal candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
• The fee paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Additional Instructions

• Only Indian nationals may apply. Employees of Government/Semi-Government/PSU/Autonomous bodies must furnish an NOC from their employer at the time of Interview.
• The category chosen during online application cannot be changed later.
• Caste/Income & Asset/Disability Certificates must be presented in the prescribed format at Interview if applicable.
• Internal HAL candidates should refer to the internal circular dated 29-07-2026 before applying.
• Applying for more than one post may lead to rejection and forfeiture of any paid fee.
• Induction Training is tentatively scheduled to begin in late October 2026 at Bengaluru.
• All recruitment information will be hosted on HAL’s official website only; beware of non-official sources.
• Corrigenda/Addenda will be issued only on HAL’s site.
• Queries can be directed to HAL via official channels; avoid sharing personal data on unauthorized platforms.
