HAL Sr Medical Officer Recruitment 2026 - 03 Posts Offline Application

Age Limits

• Upper age limit for UR/General candidates: 35 years as on 31-01-2026.
• Age relaxations as per rules for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/J&K domicile/Ex-servicemen. PwBD candidates may receive up to 10 years of relaxation; other relaxations as applicable. The overall age including relaxations shall not exceed 55 years (56 for PwBD). Age and PPQE will be reckoned as on 31-01-2026.

Eligibility Qualifications

• Sr. Medical Officer - Orthopaedics: MBBS + Post Graduate Degree / DNB in relevant specialization with 0 years post-qualification experience; OR MBBS + Post Graduate Diploma in relevant specialization with 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Sr. Medical Officer - General Medicine: MBBS + Post Graduate Degree / DNB in relevant specialization with 0 years post-qualification experience; OR MBBS + Post Graduate Diploma in relevant specialization with 1 year post-qualification experience.

Additional requirements:

• Qualifications must be from Indian universities/institutes recognized by the relevant statutory authorities.
• Candidates must be registered with a State Medical Council under the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• Regular/full-time degrees only; correspondence/distance/e-learning qualifications are not eligible.
• If applying with MBBS + PG Diploma and currently in CPSUs / State or Central Government, one year of experience in the next lower grade or equivalent is expected.
• Marks in essential qualification should be the aggregate percentage; CGPA/OGPA/letter grades must be converted to equivalent percentage as per university norms.

Application Fee

• General/OBC (non‑creamy layer): Rs. 500 (non-refundable). Convenience fee/transaction charges may apply.
• SC and PwBD candidates: Fee-exempt.

Payment Options

• Online (SBI Collect) through HAL career page for appropriate category.
• Offline (Demand Draft) in favor of ‘Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’ payable at Sunabeda (SBI) for the specified amount. The DD should not be obtained prior to notification.
