HSSC CET Group D 2026 Notification: Online Apply, Eligibility, Fees, and Important Dates

Age Details

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 52 years (for eligible categories with relaxation)

Age limits are as on 3 July 2026.

Educational Qualification

For all Group-D posts except Sweeper, Chowkidar, and Sweeper-cum-Chowkidar, a candidate must have:

• Matriculation from a recognized board
• Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matriculation as one of the studied subjects

Age Limit

Not less than 18 years and not more than 42 years as on 3 July 2026. Relaxation is available as per Haryana Government instructions, with upper age limit up to 52 years for eligible categories.

Important Dates

• Notification Published: 18 June 2026
• Online Registration Opens: 19 June 2026
• Last Date to Submit Online Application: 3 July 2026 (11:59 PM)
• Last Date to Deposit Fee: 6 July 2026 (11:59 PM)
• Application Correction/Edit Window: 7 July 2026 to 9 July 2026 (11:59 PM)
• Admit Card Release: To be communicated separately
• Exam Date: To be communicated separately

Application Fees

• Fresh applicants: Rs. 1,000 (rates may vary by category and residency).
• Candidates who already paid the fee for CET Group C Advt. No. 1/2025 are exempted from paying again.

Fee rules are non-refundable and a single payment covers one CET attempt (Group C and Group D).

General Instructions

• The CET is offline, OMR-based with 100 questions and 100 marks.
• The exam pattern includes no negative marking for wrong answers; there is a 1-mark deduction for leaving a question unattempted if the fifth bubble is not filled.
• Reservation benefits apply to Haryana residents; non-residents are treated as general-category candidates.
• Documents uploaded at application time are considered; late submissions are not entertained.
• A repeated CET registration number should be used if you have appeared in CET Advt. No. 1/2022 or 1/2025.

Documents

• Common documents: Matriculation certificate, recent color photograph, signature, signed undertaking.
• Category-specific documents: as applicable (DSC/OSC, EWS, PwBD, ESP, Ex-serviceman, etc.).

Syllabus and Exam Pattern

• Part A: General Knowledge and Language (General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, English, Hindi).
• Part B: Haryana-specific General Knowledge.
• Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes; Language: English and Hindi (bilingual).
• No interview; selection based entirely on CET marks, with a merit list and waiting list to be published subsequently.

PwBD Provisions

• Scribe and compensatory time facilities available where applicable.
• Correct disability code must be selected at registration: VH, HH, OH, or MD.
