Age limits

• General Manager (E8): Maximum age 56 years
• Deputy General Manager (E7): Maximum age 55 years

Discipline-wise qualifications

Mining

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering with First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) under the Metalliferous Mines Regulations. The certificate is qualifying in nature; post-qualification experience counts from the date of the degree.

HR

• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Commerce/Science/Engineering/Professional Studies (BBA/BCA, etc.) with an MBA in Personnel Management, or a Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management/Social Work acceptable under Labour Legislation for a Welfare Officer. Preference for candidates with an LLB.

Finance

• Final qualification of ICAI or ICMAI.

Materials & Contracts

• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering with a Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in Materials Management/Supply Chain Management, or a Bachelor's Degree with an MBA in the same field.

Equivalent qualifications will be considered per Government/UGC/AIU/AICTE guidelines. If the certificate does not mention the specialisation or uses different nomenclature, provide a Certificate of Specialisation or Certificate of Equivalence from the institute. A “Diploma” for eligibility must be a Post-Graduate level course; if not clearly reflected, a Certificate of Equivalence is mandatory.
