Age details

• Age limit: 18-45 years as on 01-01-2026.
• 5-year relaxation for eligible SC/ST/OBC, Ward of Freedom Fighters, and PwBD candidates where the post is reserved for that category in the subject applied for.

Eligibility information

Educational qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC and PwD) in the relevant subject. A qualifying NET/SLET/SET score is required.
• Ph.D. holders may be exempt from NET/SLET/SET if the Ph.D. was awarded in regular mode, evaluated by at least two external examiners, included an open viva-voce, and supported by at least two published papers (one refereed) plus two conference presentations.
• SET-2026 qualified candidates are also eligible; the window will reopen if SET-2026 results are declared after the regular closing date.

Age limits

• 18 to 45 years as on 01-01-2026, with relaxation as per category and applicable rules for HP government posts.

Relaxations

• 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) and PwBD candidates.
• 5% relaxation for Ph.D. holders who completed their Master’s before September 1991.

Application fee

• Rs. 600 for all candidates. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable once paid. Since each subject is a separate application, the fee must be paid for every subject applied to.

Other instructions

• This drive covers 22 subject-wise advertisements (34/6-2026 to 55/6-2026). Each subject has a separate ORA on the HPPSC OTR portal.
• Ensure you select the correct subject advertisement code when applying.
• Prepare and upload required documents (Matriculation certificate, degree/marksheets, category certificate, Bonafide HP certificate, and other documents as applicable).
• All selections and data are final after submission; corrections are not allowed.
