Age Details

• Minimum age: 20 years
• Maximum age: 30 years as on 01-07-2026
• Age must be calculated as per government norms and verified with the 10th standard/birth certificate during recruitment.

Eligibility Details

Educational Qualification

• A full 4-year graduation degree in Agriculture or allied disciplines (e.g., Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries Science, Dairy Science, Agricultural Engineering, Sericulture, Agricultural Biotechnology, etc.).
• Degree must be from a recognized university/institution approved by the Government of India.
• Candidates in the final year of graduation may apply provisionally and must submit proof of passing before the interview.
• Generally, a minimum of 50% marks is required for General/EWS categories; relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
• Higher qualifications such as M.Sc (Agriculture) are eligible if the basic 4-year graduation requirement is met.

Nationality

• Indian citizens only. Persons of Indian origin or foreign nationals are not eligible unless otherwise specified by government rules. Proper nationality documentation is required at the time of verification.

Experience

• Prior work experience is not mandatory. Fresh graduates meeting the educational criteria can apply. Relevant experience may be considered favourably during the interview.

Age and Relaxation

• Age limit: 20 to 30 years as on 01-07-2026.
• Age relaxation as per government rules (subject to category): SC/ST 5 years; OBC 3 years; PwD 10 years; Ex-servicemen 5 years; Widows/Divorced Women 9 years (up to age 35).
• Only one relaxation category can be claimed.
