Eligibility Details

Young Professional-II (YP-II)

• Essential: Postgraduates in Seed Science and Technology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Physiology, Botany, Biotechnology/Molecular Biology, Vegetable/Horticulture or allied Agricultural Sciences, or professional graduates in B.E./B.Tech. in relevant subjects.
• Desirable: Hands-on experience in seed quality testing in a functional seed testing/quality-control laboratory; experience in seed quality enhancement and seed treatment research; proficiency in MS Office and standard statistical packages.

Young Professional-I (YP-I)

• Essential: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with good academic record.
• Desirable: Working knowledge of computer and MS Office; hands-on experience with seed/planting materials/seed testing and/or agricultural/plants sciences field or laboratory work.

Skilled Labor

• Essential: 10th pass with experience in agricultural research activities such as field experimentation, seed production, sample collection and processing, maintenance of experimental plots, data recording and entry, and operation of basic agricultural or laboratory equipment.

Un-Skilled Labor

• Essential: Less than 10th pass. Candidates with 5-6 years of experience in agricultural field and laboratory work, including field operations, data entry and record keeping, sample collection and handling, controlled pollination, and related agricultural research activities, will be preferred.
