Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years
• Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/Women and 3 years for OBC

Eligibility (Overview)

• Young Professional-II (YP-II): Postgraduate degree in Horticulture (Vegetable Science), Genetics and Plant Breeding, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or other Agricultural Sciences.
• Young Professional-I (YP-I): Graduation in Agricultural Science or Diploma in Agricultural Sciences/Engineering/Technology.

Desirable qualifications include relevant experience in vegetable breeding, molecular biology techniques, and proficiency in computer applications. Per ICAR rules, age and qualification requirements must be met as specified in the notification.
