Age Limits

• SRF: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
• YP-II: 21 to 45 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

• Master’s Degree in Agriculture / Soil Science / Agronomy / Forestry / Horticulture / Soil & Water Conservation / Water Resources Management / Land and Water Management.
• Candidates with a Master’s Degree and 3 years of Bachelor’s degree must have NET qualification.

Young Professional - II (YP-II)

• Postgraduates in relevant subjects (Agriculture / Horticulture / Agronomy / Soil Science / Hydrology / Soil and Water Conservation Engineering / Remote Sensing and GIS) OR
• Graduate degree holders in relevant Agricultural Sciences / Engineering / Technology (Agriculture / Horticulture / Agricultural Engineering and allied subjects).

• Notification issued: 10-09-2026

Application Fee

• Nil for all categories (General/OBC/SC/ST).

Walk-in Interview Procedure

• Read the official notification carefully before attending.
• Report to the venue at the reporting time mentioned in the notification.
• Bring original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies (ID proof, educational certificates, experience certificates if any, and category certificate if applicable).
• Bring a filled application form if required by the notification.
• Verify eligibility criteria before attending.
• Reach the venue in advance to complete registration formalities and carry extra passport-size photographs if required.
