Eligibility

• PhD in the discipline of Physics, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Biotechnology and Bioscience, Biomedical Engineering, or Photonics.
• Desirable: Applicants who have worked on and published papers in photonic, plasmonic, nanostructured sensors/biosensors/SERS, machine learning, etc., during their PhD.
• Desirable: Preference given to candidates with both theoretical and experimental expertise in the aforementioned fields.
• Candidates who have recently submitted their thesis are eligible to apply, subject to furnishing proof of Ph.D. at the time of interview if shortlisted.

• Job description: Design and develop plasmonic sensor chips for SERS-based virus detection in stool samples and apply machine learning for analysis.
