IMSc Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for Project Associate I, Research Associate I, and Project Technical Assistant Level-II

Age

• Maximum age limit: 40 years for all posts. Age relaxation as per government rules.

Post-wise qualifications

• Project Associate I: Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Engineering or Technology. Candidates who have qualified national-level examinations such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, JAM, or equivalent are eligible for higher remuneration. Desirable: Background in Quantum Computing. Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience.
• Research Associate I: Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantum Science, Engineering or Technology, or a candidate who has submitted their Ph.D. thesis and is awaiting award. Desirable: Background in QMP, Computational Physics.
• Project Technical Assistant Level-II: Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 55% marks, plus minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in operation and maintenance of 11 kV/433 V electrical substations and related systems. Valid Electrical Supervisor Competency Certificate (C-License) issued by CEIG, Govt. Desirable: Working knowledge of Linux, AutoCAD, and LibreOffice.
