Age Details

• Upper age limit as on 27-04-2026: 27 years for UR; relaxations as per Govt. rules: OBC up to 30 years (3 years relaxation), SC/ST up to 32 years (5 years), PwBD up to 37 years (10 years).

Educational Qualifications

• Full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a central/state Institute of Hotel Management or CIHM/SIHM/PIHM affiliated to NCHMCT/UGC/AICTE/Govt. of India
• BBA / MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under the Ministry of Tourism
• B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science from government-recognized universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/Govt. of India/State Govts.
• MBA (Tourism and Hotel Management) from government-recognized universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/Govt. of India/State Govts.

Instructions and Conditions

• This engagement is purely contractual for 2 years, extendable by 1 year based on requirement and performance.
• Selected candidates must furnish a security deposit of Rs. 25,000 via Demand Draft payable in Kolkata.
• The contract may be terminated by either side with one month's notice (or 15 days’ notice for unsatisfactory performance).
• Only Indian nationals are eligible. Medical fitness verification will be conducted.
• Candidates may be posted in North East States, West Bengal, Bihar & Jharkhand, but transfers to anywhere in India are possible at IRCTC’s discretion.
• No TA/DA will be provided for the walk-in interview.
