Age Limit

Upper age limit: 27 years as on 01-04-2026. Age relaxations are applicable as per government/IRCTC rules.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (or)
• BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under the Ministry of Tourism (or)
• B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science (or)
• MBA (Tourism and Hotel Management) from government-recognized universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE
• Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply

• Walk-in Interview dates: 25-04-2026, 27-04-2026, 28-04-2026
• Interview time: 10:30 hrs to 17:30 hrs

Application Fee

• No application fee for walk-in interviews.

General Instructions

• Engagement is purely contractual for an initial period of 2 years and may be extended by one year based on requirement and satisfactory performance. It does not confer any right to regular employment in IRCTC.
• Contract can be terminated with one month’s notice by either side.
• Selected candidates must furnish a Security Deposit of ₹25,000 (DD/NEFT).
• Only Indian nationals are eligible. Govt./PSU employees must produce NOC.
• Candidature is subject to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria. False information may lead to termination.
• IRCTC reserves the right to cancel or amend the advertisement or selection process at any stage. Vacancies may increase or decrease.
• Knowledge of MS Office and report preparation is essential. Good command of English and Hindi is mandatory; knowledge of Tamil, Kannada, or Malayalam is an added advantage.
• Selected candidates may be posted in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, or elsewhere in India as required.
• Corrigenda/clarifications will be published on the IRCTC website only. Canvassing will disqualify candidatures.
