Age Details

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: As per Jharkhand Government rules

Eligibility Details

Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)

• Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks and have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / B.T.C.), either completed or in the final year.
• Alternatively, 12th with 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed., in progress) or 12th with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Special Education (as per NCTE 2002 norms) are eligible.
• Graduates pursuing or holding a 2-year D.El.Ed./B.T.C. are also eligible.

Upper Primary / Junior Level (Class 6 to 8)

• Graduation with a 2-year D.El.Ed./B.T.C. (completed or final year) or Graduation with at least 50% marks along with B.Ed./L.T./Shiksha Shastri.
• Graduation with 45% marks and B.Ed. as per NCTE norms are also eligible.
• 4-year integrated courses (B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed./B.El.Ed.) from 12th with 50% marks, or B.Ed. in Special Education, or a Master’s degree (55% marks) with an integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. course are acceptable.

Special Education Eligibility

• Diploma in Special Education (D.Ed. Special Education)
• Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR)
• Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) Diploma
• Diploma in Hearing Language & Speech (DHLS)
• Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation
• Any other RCI-approved special education qualification, with valid RCI registration where applicable
