Educational Qualifications

• Candidates must have passed the Senior School Certificate (10+2) or an equivalent examination, with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.

Certificate of Proficiency (COP)

• Candidates must hold a COP in the language for which they are applying, or an equivalent examination.
• This requirement applies to Bahasa Indonesia, Mongolian, Hebrew, Uzbek, and Pali.

Non-10+2 Education Pattern

• Candidates whose qualifications follow a pattern other than 10+2 may apply if they have completed the first year of a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks.

Candidates Awaiting Final Results

• Candidates who are due to appear in their qualifying examination may apply. Admission is confirmed only after they secure the minimum marks and submit final marks sheets before the registration deadline.

• Tentative merit list release: 24-08-2026
• Tentative pre-enrolment registration and payment: 24-27-08-2026
• Physical verification of selected candidates: 31-08-2026
• Last date for admission and registration: 10-09-2026

Application Fee (Slabs)

• General / EWS: ₹700 (Slab 1), ₹1,000 (Slab 2), ₹1,200 (Slab 3)
• SC / ST / PwD / OBC: ₹500 (Slab 1), ₹600 (Slab 2), ₹700 (Slab 3)
• BPL: ₹200 (Slab 1), ₹300 (Slab 2), ₹400 (Slab 3)

Fees vary based on category and the number of language/programme choices (maximum of three).

Important Instructions

• A maximum of three programme choices can be selected in order of preference; preferences cannot be changed after submission.
• If selected under a higher preference, no claim can be made for a lower preference.
• Submitting multiple applications for the same programme can lead to rejection of all such forms.
• Ensure that the candidate’s name, parents/guardian name, and date of birth exactly match the 10th certificate; discrepancies may cancel candidature.
• False information may lead to cancellation of admission even after it has been granted.
• No change of category requests will be accepted after form submission.
• The University reserves the right to withdraw admission if any discrepancy in eligibility is found later.
• The selection is merit-based on the Certificate of Proficiency performance (no entrance test).
