Age Limits

Educational Qualifications

• Agriculture Officer (Pay Level 85): B.Sc. in Agriculture or B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture.
• Agriculture Officer (Pay Level 15): B.Tech in Food Science & Technology or Food Technology or related degrees; B.Sc. in Agri. Marketing and Cooperation or Agri. Biotech, Agricultural Engineering, or related fields.
• Assistant Agriculture Officer (Pay Level 85): B.Sc. in Agriculture or B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture.
• Assistant Agriculture Officer (Pay Level 15): Same as Agriculture Officer (Pay Level 15).

Notes

• The degree must be from a University/Institute recognized by ICAR or AICTE. Regular, full-time qualifications are required.
• Higher qualifications do not waive the eligibility rules for lower posts. Candidates with a higher degree applying for a lower post must ensure eligibility.
• Candidates currently enrolled in a higher qualification must not submit applications for a lower post.

Application Fees

• General/OBC: Rs. 750 (Rs. 500 application fee + Rs. 250 processing fee)
• SC/ST/Cat-1/Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 application fee + Rs. 250 processing fee)
• PwD: Rs. 250 (processing fee only)

Notes:

• PwD candidates with disability >40% may be eligible for a reduced fee.
• Applicants for multiple posts under the same programme may pay an additional Rs. 100 per extra post.

Important Instructions

• Candidates must upload scanned documents (Aadhaar, degree certificates, marksheets, caste/reservation certificates, rural certificates, Kannada medium certificate if applicable, NOC if currently employed).
• After submission, download and preserve a copy of the application.
• Changes to submitted data are not allowed.
• If selected, provide NOC/Service certificate from current employer before appointment.
• The examination involves an Offline OMR-based written test and a Kannada language test. Negative marking applicable in the written exam.

Cadre and Reservation Details

• The recruitment is conducted for Inland KK Cadre and RPC Cadre with separate vacancies and exam dates. PwD reservations are horizontal within the overall vacancies. OBC, Rural, Kannada Medium, Ex-Serviceman, Transgender, and Article 371(J) Kalyana-Karnataka reservations are as per government orders.
• Applicants may apply for both KK and RPC cadres via separate online applications and fees.
• Candidates may apply for both Agriculture Officer and Assistant Agriculture Officer posts in a single application by paying the fee once; for additional posts, a nominal per-post fee applies.
