Age Limit (as applicable to notification)

One-Time Age Relaxation

• A one-time 5-year upper-age relaxation has been sanctioned for this notification, raising upper age limits to 40/43/43 years for the respective categories. Additional relaxation may apply for Ex-servicemen, Physically Handicapped candidates, and Widows as per government rules.

Educational Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) or MBA (Finance) or MBA (Financial Management) or MBA/M.Com with Finance as a subject, or any other master’s degree notified by the University Grants Commission with Finance as a subject, from a recognized university.
• OR a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
• OR an Associate member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Cadre Eligibility

• Must qualify as a local candidate of the Hyderabad-Karnataka (Kalyana Karnataka) region under Article 371(J), supported by the prescribed eligibility certificate.

Citizenship

• Must be an Indian citizen.

Notes

• Candidates who have appeared for qualifying examinations whose results are not yet declared are eligible for the Preliminary Examination; however, all candidates selected for the Main Examination must provide proof of passing the requisite qualifying examination along with their Main Examination application.
• Candidates must meet all eligibility conditions as of the closing date of applications.

• SC, ST, Category-1 & Physically Handicapped candidates: Fee exempted

• Fees can be paid via net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Applications without fee payment will be rejected. Fee payment cannot be made after the closing date/time.

Important Conditions

• This recruitment is restricted to candidates eligible under the Karnataka Public Employment (Reservation to Hyderabad-Karnataka Region) Rules, 2013, enacted under Article 371(J).
• The examination center will be located as decided by the Commission; question papers will be set in Kannada and English.
