Eligibility Details

Group A - 10th Class Passed

• Qualification: SSC (10th) with General Science and Mathematics
• Aggregate: General / OBC / SEBC / EWS / Divyang / AFC - minimum 50%; SC / ST - passing class only
• Note: ITI-passed candidates are NOT eligible for Group A.

Group B - ITI Passed

• Qualification: ITI in the relevant trade from a Government or Government-recognized ITI
• Aggregate: General / OBC / SEBC / EWS / Divyang / AFC - minimum 50%; SC / ST - passing class only
• Backlogs must be cleared; final ITI exam must be passed on or before 01 October 2026

Group C - 8th Class Passed

• Qualification: 8th Standard with Science and Mathematics
• Aggregate: General / OBC / SEBC / EWS / Divyang / AFC - minimum 50%; SC / ST - passing class only
• ITI-passed candidates are NOT eligible for Group C.

Notes

• ITI-passed candidates are not eligible for Group A or Group C.

Important Dates

• Online registration opens: 11 June 2026
• Last date for online registration: 08 July 2026 (extended window for edits as needed)
• Online CBT exam (tentative): 25 July 2026

Application Fee

• UR / OBC / SEBC / EWS / AFC: Rs. 100 plus bank charges (non-refundable)
• SC / ST / Divyang (PwD): Nil (certificate upload mandatory)

Key Instructions

• Applications must be submitted online only via the official MDL portal. No offline applications.
• A nominal fee of Rs. 100 applies to UR/OBC/SEBC/EWS/AFC categories; SC/ST/Divyang are exempt upon certificate upload.
• Two examination centres must be selected during application; centre changes are not allowed after submission.
• For scribe requests, indicate in the application form. No later requests will be entertained.
• After selection, candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and obtain a Police Verification Report within three weeks of joining.
• Stipends are paid via ECS to a bank account; PAN card and ECS-enabled savings account are required. No hostel accommodation is provided.
• Ensure all supporting documents (educational certificates, caste/disability certificates, age proof, PAN, bank details) are uploaded during application and produced at verification.
• ITI-passed candidates must ensure eligibility for their respective groups; misrepresentation can lead to cancellation.
