Age Limit

As on 01-01-2026, the candidate should be not less than 21 years and not more than 38 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per existing rules.

Eligibility Details

Required Qualification

• MBBS degree from a university recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
• Registration with the Assam Medical Council.

Citizenship

• Indian citizens as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Government Service Rules

• Government doctors serving in DME, DHS, NHM, Assam, or other Government of Assam agencies are eligible to apply and no separate NOC is required for initial application.
