Age Limit

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years as on 01-08-2026. Relaxation up to 5 years is allowed for ST/SC candidates, or as notified by the government from time to time.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, or Science from a recognized university.

Other Requirements

• The selected candidate must successfully complete Forest Ranger Training during the probation period.
• Computer proficiency as mandated by Mizoram Group A, B, and C posts service/recruitment rules, 2023. Details are available on the official reference linked by MPSC.
• Mizo language proficiency is required, with exemptions possible for those who studied Mizo as a subject in Class X (HSLC) or above within Mizoram, or who opted for Mizo as MIL outside Mizoram, as per government notifications.
