Age Limit

General/Unreserved candidates: 18-40 years MP-domicile SC/ST/OBC candidates, government/corporation/board employees, and women candidates: up to 45 years Note: Age relaxations beyond these limits may apply as per government orders; the upper age limit may not ordinarily exceed 45 years except for specific contract or category rules.

Eligibility Details

Educational and other eligibility requirements are determined by the respective department for each post code and technical stream (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Fashion Technology, Architecture & Interior Designing, Modern Office Management, Hotel Management, Agriculture Engineering, Textile Design, Automobile Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning).

Candidates must indicate their post preference during application. Certification and verification are conducted by the concerned department during appointment; provisional eligibility is indicated in the online exam stage.

Application Fees

• Unreserved candidates: ₹500 per paper
• MP-domicile SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Divyangjan candidates: ₹250 per paper

Important Instructions

• Aadhaar registration is mandatory; biometric verification is required at exam entry and during the exam.
• Carry original photo identity proof (Voter ID, PAN, Aadhaar, Driving Licence, Passport).
• Entry allowed only up to the specified reporting times; late candidates will not be admitted.
• No use of electronic devices or unfair means inside the examination hall.
• Admit card must be accessed via the online application number.
• Bring a black ballpoint pen and the downloaded admit card to the exam hall.
• The Board conducts the exam and results; appointment decisions rest with the respective department.
• Special tribal communities (Baiga, Sahariya, Bharia) applying for non-executive posts under Scheduled Tribe category must send hard copies to the concerned department by the closing date; ESB will not accept these applications.
