Age Limit (as on 30-04-2026)

• Advocates / Public Prosecutors / Government Advocates: 21 to 35 years (UR), 21 to 40 years (Reserved).
• Ministerial Staff: 21 to 45 years (UR), 21 to 50 years (Reserved).
• SEBC candidates may receive age relaxation as per government rules.

Educational Qualification

• Advocate / Public Prosecutor / Government Advocate: Degree in Law with at least 3 years of practice in the High Court of Bombay or subordinate courts as on 30 April 2026. Experience as a Law Clerk (after provisional enrollment) with High Court Judges or subordinate Judicial Officers is counted.
• Ministerial Staff of the High Court of Bombay / Subordinate Courts / Government Pleaders / Legal Assistant and above in the Legal Section of Law & Judiciary Department, Mantralaya: Degree in Law with a minimum of 3 years of service as of 30 April 2026 after obtaining the degree.

Experience

• Relevant practice or service as specified above as of 30 April 2026.
