Age Limit

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 32 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST candidates: upper age limit relaxable by 5 years
• Serving government employees: age concession equal to the number of years in service, up to a maximum of 5 years

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.

Additional Qualification

• Six months Diploma in Computer Operation.

Shorthand Requirement

• One-year course in Shorthand with a speed of 80 words per minute.

Note: Candidates must possess the requisite qualifications at the time of applying, and the shorthand speed must be indicated on the mark sheet or completion certificate.

Important Instructions

• Candidates must produce attested or self-attested photocopies of documents when called for, including HSLC/Matriculation or equivalent for proof of Date of Birth.
• Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate, Scheduled Tribe Certificate, and Backward Tribe Certificate, as relevant, must be produced.
• PwBD candidates must provide a certificate from a competent medical authority.
• Educational qualification proofs (mark sheets, certificates) must be submitted; if not issued, a supporting letter from the issuing Board/Institute is required.
• Certificates should be issued by the concerned authority on or before the last date of submission.
• Indigenous Inhabitant, SC, ST & BT certificates should be signed only by a District Authority not below Additional Deputy Commissioner.
• If eligibility norms are not fulfilled at any stage or false information is provided, the candidature shall be cancelled.
• The Commission’s decision on eligibility, examination conduct, and selection is final. No representation or correspondence will be entertained.
• The examination date will be notified separately on the Commission’s website.
• Applications must be submitted only through the online OTR process on the NPSC portal.
