Educational Qualifications

Teaching Posts

• Professor (Physical Education): M.P.Ed or M.P.E.S with 55% marks; Ph.D. in a relevant discipline; at least 10 years of teaching/research experience; minimum 10 publications with a research score of 120 per UGC Regulations 2018. A Ph.D. with 10 years of relevant experience or an outstanding professional with a Ph.D. may also apply.
• Associate Professor (Sports Medicine): MD/DNB (Sports Medicine) recognized by NMC, or MS (Orthopaedics)/MD (PM&R) with at least 2 years in Sports Medicine; at least 4 years as Assistant Professor in a related field at an NMC-recognized institution; at least two research publications; completion of MET and BMR courses.
• Assistant Professor (Sports Coaching - Athletics): Master’s degree with 55% marks in Sports Coaching or a related subject; OR M.P.Ed./M.Sc. (Sports Sciences)/M.S.S./M.P.E.S. with 55% marks plus a Diploma/PG Diploma in Sports Coaching in Athletics. NET/SLET/SET not required for Sports Coaching discipline.

Non-Teaching Posts

• Deputy Controller of Examinations: Master’s degree with 55% marks; at least 9 years’ experience as Assistant Professor at Academic Level-10 or higher with educational administration experience, OR at least 5 years as Assistant Registrar or equivalent at Level-10.
• Assistant Librarian: Master’s degree in Library/Information/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks; NET/SLET/SET or an equivalent national-level test.
• Section Officer: Bachelor’s degree; three years’ asst./ASO in Level-6, or eight years as UDC in Level-4; proficiency in computer operation, noting and drafting.
• Private Secretary: Bachelor’s degree; three years’ experience as Personal Assistant in government/university/PSU; computer proficiency. Desirable: stenography speed.
• Assistant Section Officer: Bachelor’s degree; three years’ experience as UDC in Level-4 or related administrative roles; proficiency in typing and office procedures.
• Physiotherapist: Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy; four years’ experience in a government or large hospital.
• Accountant: B.Com (minimum second division) or M.Com/MBA; three years’ experience in finance in government/PSU; knowledge of Tally and PFMS.
• Library Assistant (Withdrawn): Post cancelled; details not applicable.
• Nursing Attendant: 12th pass or equivalent; Diploma in GNM/ANM; two years’ hospital experience; B.Sc. Nursing desirable.
