Age Limits

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 28 years as on 01 January 2026
• Relaxations as per category: SC/BC/EWS/Ex‑Servicemen and other specified categories.

Educational Qualification

• Constable: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University. Ex‑servicemen may be eligible with Matriculation.

Mandatory Punjabi Qualification

• Matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or an equivalent examination in Punjabi as specified by the Punjab Government on or before 01 January 2026.

Application Fees

• General: Rs. 1,200 (Rs. 550 application fee + Rs. 650 examination fee)
• SC/ST of all states, Backward Classes of Punjab, EWS: Rs. 700 (Rs. 550 application fee + Rs. 150 examination fee)
• Ex‑servicemen (ESM) of Punjab and descendants: Rs. 500 (application fee only)
• Fee is non‑refundable and payable online.
