Age Limit

• 32 years as of 17 August 2026. Relaxations as per applicable rules for certain categories vary by category.

Educational Qualification

• Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology in Mechanical, Production, Production & Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical/Railways, Mechatronics & Automobile, or a combination of the above disciplines.
• UR/EWS candidates (and SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD candidates applying against unreserved posts) must have a first-class degree or a minimum of 60% marks.
• Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD, as applicable) must have a minimum of 50% marks for consideration against reserved posts.
• The degree must be recognized by AICTE and awarded by a recognized University. If the marks do not show a class/division or percentage, an approved conversion formula or an authorized undertaking will be required, and a CGPA of 6 on a 10-point scale will be treated as 60%.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in production or mechanical maintenance or related mechanical engineering areas, gained at project sites, factories, or plants. Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, will be considered towards the minimum experience, subject to other eligibility conditions.

Application Fee

• General/OBC: ₹600 plus applicable taxes
• EWS/SC/ST/PwBD: ₹300 plus applicable taxes
• Fee is payable online. SC/ST/PwBD fees may be refunded upon participation in the selection process after verification of category certificates.

Important Instructions

• Government employees should apply through proper channel; NOC may be required at the time of interview for pay protection, transfer of gratuity/leave, and joining benefits.
• Caste, income, and other certificates must be in the prescribed formats and valid as of the last date of submission.
• Hard copies of documents are not required to be sent by post.
• Candidates must bring two copies of Annexure A (Documents Submission Checklist) at document verification, along with supporting documents in chronological order.
• The appointment will initially be on probation for one year, with confirmation subject to performance and verification of certificates.
• Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India or abroad as per company requirements.
• No TA/DA will be paid for the selection process.
