Age Details

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 30 years

Educational Qualification

• Electrical Department: Matriculation/SSLC + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) OR Matriculation/SSLC + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR a combination of streams in electrical disciplines instead of ITI.
• Mechanical Department: Matriculation/SSLC + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) OR Matriculation/SSLC + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR a combination of streams in mechanical disciplines instead of ITI.
• Accepted ITI trades include Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, among others as specified in the notification.

Age Limit

• General age limit: 18 to 30 years.
• Age is calculated as on the date specified in the official notification.

Nationality

• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 intending to settle in India, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Medical Standards

• A-1, B-1, B-2, C-1 medical standards with fitness in all respects.
• Visual standards vary by category (A-1, B-1, B-2, C-1) with requirements for distance and near vision, color vision, binocular vision, field of vision, and night vision as specified in the notification.
