Important Dates

• Basic Computer Instructor Joint Direct Recruitment Exam 2026: 22 August 2026 (Saturday)
• Senior Computer Instructor Joint Direct Recruitment Exam 2026: 23 August 2026 (Sunday)

Exam Structure

• Each exam will consist of two papers with two shifts:
  • Shift 1: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Shift 2: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Exam Pattern & OMR Marking Rules

• Each question carries five options (A-E). Darken only one option with a blue ballpoint pen; option E is for an unanswered question.
• If none of the five options is darkened for a question, one-third of the marks allocated for that question will be deducted.
• If more than 10% of questions are left without any marked option, the candidate will be declared ineligible.
• Candidates will be given 10 extra minutes at the end of the exam to ensure every question has an option marked.

Important Instructions for Candidates

1. Verify eligibility and educational qualifications as prescribed in the original board notification before appearing for the exam.
2. Ensure the photograph on your ID matches the admit card photo; otherwise, entry may be denied.
3. The Provisional e-Admit Card download date will be announced separately on the official RSSB website. No physical admit cards will be sent by post.
4. Only information published on the official RSSB website and recognized state-level newspapers should be treated as authentic.
5. Follow the dress code as updated by RSSB at the time of admit card release to avoid entry issues.

Warning Against Cheating and Unfair Means

The board has strict measures against cheating. Involvement in unfair means can lead to heavy penalties, including fines, imprisonment, and debarment from future RSSB exams.
