Age Limit

As on 01-01-2027, the candidate must be at least 18 years old and must not exceed 40 years.

Relaxations (non-cumulative)

• SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS male candidates (Rajasthan origin): 5 years
• General category women: 5 years
• SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS women (Rajasthan origin): 10 years
• Ex-servicemen: 15 years
• PwD: Additional 5 years (over applicable category relaxation)
• Widows and divorcees: No upper age limit, subject to retirement age

Educational Qualifications

• Junior Engineer (Civil) - Degree Holder: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
• Junior Engineer (Civil) - Diploma Holder: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Junior Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) - Diploma Holder: Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Candidates in the final year of the relevant course may apply, provided they obtain the prescribed qualification by the date of the examination.

Nationality

An applicant must be a citizen of India, with allowances for certain categories as detailed in the official notification.

• Online Application Start Date: 16 August 2026
• Online Application Last Date: 14 September 2026 (11:59 PM)
• Correction Window: 3 days after application closes (Rs. 300 fee) plus a limited correction window after the exam
• Tentative Exam Month: February 2027 (CBT/TBT/OMR options)
• Admit Card: To be issued online (date not specified) Note: Some dates are provisional and may be updated in the official notification.

Application Fees

• General category and Creamy Layer OBC/MBC: Rs. 600
• Non-Creamy Layer OBC/MBC/EWS/SC/ST: Rs. 400
• PwD candidates: Rs. 400
• OTR (One Time Registration) fee is non-refundable and may be exempted for certain categories as per state rules.

Instructions and Important Notes

• Read the detailed advertisement carefully before applying.
• Only online applications are accepted via the SSO Rajasthan portal.
• One correction opportunity is allowed within 3 days after the application closing date (Rs. 300). A limited correction window follows the exam for select fields.
• Mention the correct category in the application; category changes are not allowed after the correction window closes.
• If already employed, obtain an NOC at the time of document verification.
• Ensure compliance with live photograph and signature/thumb impression guidelines as specified in the notification.
• Mobile phones and electronic devices are prohibited inside examination centers.
• False information or unfair means can lead to disqualification and legal action.
• Separate online applications are required if applying for multiple posts/cadres across departments.
