Age is calculated as of 01 January 2027 (the first day of January following the application closing date). The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years. Relaxations apply by category and department as per government rules.

Eligibility details

Educational Qualification

Senior Computer Instructor:

• ME/M.Tech in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT) / Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) / Electrical Engineering (EE) / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE)
• M.Sc. in CS or IT
• MCA / 'B' Level / 'C' Level
• Any equivalent or higher qualification recognised by the Government

Basic Computer Instructor**:

• Graduate with 'A' Level / PGDCA (minimum one year)
• BE/B.Tech in CS/IT/ECE/EE/EEE / EIC / TIE
• B.Sc. in CS or IT
• BCA from a recognised university
• Any equivalent or higher qualification recognised by the Government

Common requirements

• Working knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari) and knowledge of Rajasthani culture
• Candidates in the final year of qualifying examinations may apply with proof of completion before the written exam date
• Ex-servicemen with a graduation-equivalent certificate after 15 years of service may apply with specific roll-number/grade entries

Application fees

• General / Creamy Layer OBC / MBC: ₹600
• Rajasthan Non-Creamy Layer OBC / Non-Creamy Layer MBC / EWS / SC / ST: ₹400
• All Divyang (PwD): ₹400

Notes:

• Candidates from outside Rajasthan belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS categories are treated as General candidates and pay ₹600.
• Previous OTR payments may exempt you from paying again.

Important notes

• Applications are accepted exclusively online via the SSO Portal. Offline submissions are not allowed.
• Department preference (Secondary Education or Sanskrit Education) must be indicated during application and cannot be changed afterward.
• Ensure all documents are uploaded in the prescribed formats. Incomplete or incorrect information may lead to rejection.
• There is a One Time Registration (OTR) requirement with associated fees; candidates who have already paid OTR in a previous recruitment may not need to pay again.
• After final submission, certain fields (name, father’s name, date of birth, etc.) cannot be edited; corrections may be allowed within the window period with a correction fee.
