Age Limit

The upper age limit for all posts is 59 years as of the last date of application.

Educational Qualifications

• General disciplines: Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent) in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university, along with NET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.
• Business Management: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration/PGDM/C.A./ICWA/M.Com with First Class or equivalent, plus two years of professional experience after Master’s degree.
• Fine Arts: Master’s degree with 55% marks along with NET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC norms, OR a traditional/professional artist with a Bachelor’s degree and specified performance experience as detailed in the official notification.
• Pharmaceutical Sciences: B. Pharm. and registration as a pharmacist, plus a First Class Master’s Degree in a pharmacy specialization.
• Inter Institutional Computer Centre: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. (or Integrated M.Tech.) in a relevant branch with First Class, OR B.E./B.Tech. and MCA with First Class, OR a three-year graduation with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and MCA with First Class plus two years of post-MCA experience.

Special exemptions

Ph.D. graduates under pre-July 2009 regime may be exempted from NET/SET subject to notification conditions.

Additional Instructions

• The appointment is purely contractual and valid only up to 30th April 2027, with no guarantee of continuation.
• Relaxation of 5% in marks is provided at the Bachelor’s/Master’s level for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently-abled candidates for eligibility and academic record assessment.
• An additional 5% relaxation is given to Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master’s Degree before 19th September 1991.
• Reserved-category candidates domiciled outside Maharashtra will be treated as Open category according to government norms.
• Canvassing will lead to disqualification.
• The University reserves the right to fill or not fill the posts or to modify/cancel the advertisement.
• Proficiency in Marathi is desirable.
