SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) Recruitment 2026 - 1538 Backlog Posts (Special Recruitment Drive)

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 20 years
• Maximum age: 28 years as on 01.04.2026
• Relaxations as per category provisions (noted in the official notification).

Educational Qualification

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
• Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) must ensure the date of passing is on or before 31.12.2026.
• Final-year/semester graduates may apply provisionally, subject to passing by 31.12.2026.
• Matriculate Ex-servicemen with applicable certificates after at least 15 years of service are eligible.

Who Can Apply

• Open only to candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) categories against backlog vacancies.
• General/UR and EWS candidates are not eligible under this advertisement.

PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities)

• PwBD candidates apply under their parent category (SC/ST/OBC) as there is no horizontal PwBD reservation in this drive.
• A valid Disability Certificate is required for concessions such as scribe facility and extra time.

Ex-Servicemen (XS)

• Ex-Servicemen definitions and applicable conditions are as per government guidelines and the official notification.

Application Fee

• SC/ST/PwBD/XS/DXS: Nil
• OBC: ₹750 (non-refundable)
• Fee payment can be made online via debit card, credit card, or net banking. Transaction charges, if any, are borne by the candidate.

Important Instructions

• Apply for vacancies in only one State/UT; tests will be held accordingly.
• Proficiency in the local language of the applied State is required; LLPT may be conducted after qualifying Main Exam.
• Bring required documents and photographs to the exam; mobile phones and other devices are not allowed inside examination premises.
• The Bank reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process at any stage; decisions are final.
• The newly recruited Junior Associates will be on probation for at least 6 months with possible extensions based on performance.
