Age Details

• Maximum age: 35 years as on 31 May 2026 for unreserved candidates.
• Age relaxations apply as per government norms for other categories (OBC, SC/ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen).

Educational Qualifications

• Mandatory: MBBS degree from a Medical Council/NMC recognized institution.
• Preferred: Postgraduate Diploma or MD/MS (or equivalent).

Experience

• With MBBS only: minimum 5 years of General Practitioner experience from the date of NMC/State Medical Council registration.
• With PG degree: minimum 3 years of General Practitioner experience from the date of registration.
• Internship, teaching, and training experience are not counted toward the eligibility requirement.

Age and Registration

• Age as on 31 May 2026: Maximum 35 years for unreserved candidates.
• Age relaxations are applicable as per category rules (see age section below).

• Tentative online written test: August 2026

Application Fee

• General/EWS/OBC: ₹750 (non-refundable).
• SC/ST/PwBD: No fee.

Payment

• Fee must be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking before the deadline. Fees paid are non-refundable.
