South Eastern Railway Scouts & Guides Quota Recruitment 2026-27 - 10 Vacancies (SER RRC)

Age as on 01 January 2027

• Level-2 (Group C): 18 to 30 years
• Level-1 (Erstwhile Group D): 18 to 33 years

Age relaxation as per government rules for eligible categories.

Educational Qualifications

• Level-2 (Group C): 12th (Plus Two) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board. The 50% marks requirement is not applicable for SC, ST, ESM, PwBD candidates and those with higher qualifications from UGC-recognized universities, OR
• 10th Pass + National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) / ITI approved by NCVT.
• Level-1 (Erstwhile Group D): 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent qualification; NAC by NCVT; and required Scouts/Guides qualification.

Scouts & Guides Qualification

• President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
• Active member of Scouts Organization for the last 5 years.
• Should have attended two National Level or All Indian Railways level events and two State Level events.

Note

Candidates must also possess the prescribed Scouts & Guides qualification for both levels.

Application Fee

• General/All Candidates: Rs. 500
• SC/ST/ESM/PwBD/Women/Minority/EBC: Rs. 250

Note: Candidates paying Rs. 500 will receive a refund of Rs. 400 after appearing in the written examination. Eligible candidates from SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Women, Minority and EBC categories will receive a refund of Rs. 250 after appearing in the written examination.

3. Create a new registration with your personal details.
4. Log in using the registration number and password.
5. Fill the application form carefully.
6. Upload photograph, signature, LTI, and required certificates.
7. Pay the application fee online.
8. Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
