Age limits

• 18 to 27 years for most posts. Post-wise variations apply; the crucial date for age calculation is the last date of online application.

Educational Qualifications

• Constable (Veterinary): 10th pass with Science and one year of experience in animal treatment at a recognized veterinary hospital.
• Constable (Driver): Matriculation and a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
• Constables (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter): Matriculation or equivalent, with either (i) two years of work experience in the trade, or (ii) one-year ITI/Vocational certificate with one year in trade, or (iii) two-year ITI diploma in the trade; must qualify the trade test.
• Constable (Carpenter): Matriculation or equivalent with relevant work experience or ITI/Vocational certificate.
• Constable (Nursing Orderly): 10th pass, First Aid certificate, and at least one year of nursing orderly experience in an approved facility.

Other requirements

• For certain posts, relevant driving licence or ITI certifications may be required.
• Candidates appearing in examinations or lacking required certificates on or before the last date should not apply.
