Age Limit

• For most participating cadres, the maximum age is 45 years as on the crucial date, with relaxations as applicable (SC/ST relaxations available). The exact age relaxation is cadre-specific and should be checked in the official notification for the corresponding cadre.

Educational Qualifications

• Regular Group C/MTS employee in Level-1 with a Grade Pay of ₹1,800 in one of the participating cadres, and at least 3 years of regular service as on the crucial date.
• 12th pass (Higher Secondary) or equivalent from a recognised board.

Other Eligibility Conditions

• Applications must be forwarded by the Head of Department/Head of Office through proper channel.
• This LDCE is not open to freshers or private-sector/unemployed applicants.
• The cadre must be among the 12 participating cadres listed in the notification (see vacancy distribution for details).

Application Fee

• For this Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, no application fee is prescribed in the notice. A separate non-refundable charge of ₹50 per question applies only if a candidate later challenges the tentative answer key (not related to the application).

Important Instructions

• This is a limited departmental examination; only regular Group C/MTS employees of the participating cadres are eligible, and the application must be forwarded through proper channel by the Head of Department/Office.
• The exam will be conducted in Delhi-NCR only. Admit cards will be issued online.
• Forward the hard copy along with service documents to the Regional Director, SSC (Northern Region), by the specified deadline. Applications not forwarded through proper channel will be rejected.
• Ensure that all scanned documents are in the prescribed formats and sizes before submission.
