Eligibility

Eligibility by Post

  • Assistant Editor, Supreme Court Reports: Law degree from an Indian university recognized by the Bar Council of India, English Bar member, or Attorney of the High Court.
  • Assistant Director (Ex-cadre), Supreme Court Museum: Master’s Degree in Museology (First Class) with knowledge of Indian antiquities, museum techniques, publications, and educational activities.
  • Senior Court Assistant (Ex-cadre), Supreme Court Museum: Master’s Degree in Museology (minimum 55%) from a recognized university.
  • Assistant Librarian: Degree in Library Science from a recognized university; Diploma in Computer Applications (AICTE/DOEACC) or Library Automation Course from NISCAIR.

General Eligibility

  • Indian citizens only.
  • Eligibility assessment as on 01.03.2026.
  • Documentary proof of all prescribed eligibility conditions required at interview stage.
  • No upper age limit for departmental candidates of Registry of Supreme Court.
