Age Limit

• Maximum age: 33 years as on 16/01/2026.
• Age relaxation available for reserved categories as per Gujarat Government rules and regulations, and for departmental employees as per prevailing government rules.
• Note: The maximum age limit under any circumstances should not exceed 45 years including all relaxations.

Educational Qualifications

• ITI Draftsman (Civil) or Diploma in Architecture Assistant from a government-recognized institution.
• Successful completion of AutoCAD training from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience after AutoCAD training.
• Additional preference for candidates with Geographic Information System (GIS) knowledge.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic computer operations.

Other Requirements

• Persons with disabilities must have a valid disability certificate showing at least 40% disability.
• Passing the HHC examination within 1 year of appointment as per Surat Municipal Corporation Resolution No. 67/2008 or equivalent qualification recognized by the government.

• Important: Fees paid are non-refundable. Cash, Demand Draft, Indian Postal Order, or Pay Order are not accepted. Bank charges, if any, are borne by the candidate.
