Age Limit

• Maximum age: 58 years
• Age relaxation as per Government of India norms for eligible categories.

Educational Qualification

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale from a recognized university/institution.

Experience

• Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent department/organization under Central or State Government/ UTs/ PSUs/Universities/Research Institutes; or
• At least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in the AGP of 7000 (Pay Level-11) or above, or with 8 years of service in the AGP of 8000 (Pay Level-12) or above, including as an Associate Professor with 3 years of experience in educational administration; or
• Comparable experience in a research establishment and/or other higher education institutions; or
• 15 years of administrative experience, with at least 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in the GP of Rs. 7600 (Pay Level 12) or above.
