Age Details

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 44 years as on 01/07/2026. The upper age limit has been raised to 44 years in line with governmental notifications.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a university incorporated by a Central Act, a Telangana State Act, or an institution recognized by the UGC/AICTE, or an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (A.M.I.E.).

Age Limit

Candidates must be as of 01/07/2026: minimum age 18 years and maximum age 44 years. The upper age limit is subsequently raised to 44 years per G.O.Ms.No.86, GA(Ser.A) Department, Dt. 18/05/2026.

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST/BCs & EWS: 5 years
• Physically Handicapped: 10 years
• Telangana State Government Employees: Up to 5 years based on regular service
• Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + service rendered in armed forces
• NCC (Instructors): 3 years + service rendered in NCC

• Online Application Start Date: 08 June 2026
• Online Application Last Date: 15 July 2026 (upto 5:00 PM)
• Hall Ticket Download: 7 days prior to examination (upto 5:00 PM on the previous day)
• Tentative Date of Examination: October 2026

Application Fees

• OC & BC: Processing Fee 1,000 INR; Examination Fee 120 INR (Unemployed applicants exempted)
• SC / ST / PwD: Processing Fee 500 INR; Examination Fee 120 INR (Unemployed applicants exempted)

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection consists of a Written Examination (Objective Type) conducted in OMR/CBRT mode. Marking will be based on performance in the examination. Normalization may be applied for multi-session CBRT examinations.

Exam Centres

Hyderabad (including HMDA Jurisdiction), Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal, and Nizamabad. The Commission reserves the right to alter centres for administrative reasons.
