Age Limits

• Minimum age is 18 years for most posts.
• Minimum age is 21 years for Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade-II and Junior Training Officer posts.
• Maximum age varies by post and category, with some posts upto 60 years (subject to post-specific exceptions in the notification).

Educational Qualifications

• Each post has a distinct qualification requirement. Most posts require a Diploma, ITI/National Trade Certificate, or a degree in the relevant engineering or technical field. The complete list of all 56 posts is available in the official notification.

Nationality

• Candidates must satisfy the general eligibility criteria for Tamil Nadu government recruitments. Admission to the examination is provisional and subject to eligibility verification at each stage.

Application Fee

• Rs. 100 per subject paper.
• An additional Rs. 100 for each extra subject paper chosen.
• Fee exemptions available for eligible reserved categories as per the notification.
• Fee must be paid online (Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI). Offline methods are not accepted.

• Admission to all stages is provisional and subject to eligibility verification.
• Select subject papers only in the discipline in which the candidate holds the required qualification.
• Prohibited items (mobile phones, electronic devices, calculators, books, etc.) are not allowed in the examination hall.
• The number of vacancies is tentative and may be modified before certification verification/counselling.

• The notification is published in English and Tamil; the English version is final in case of doubt.
