Age Limit

• Age is reckoned as on 01-07-2026.
• General minimum age: 18 years (some posts have specific higher minima, e.g., 22 for Probation Officer).
• General maximum age: 32 years for many posts under the Others category; there is no fixed maximum for SC/SC(A)/ST/MBC/DC/BC/BCM candidates for most posts. Additional relaxations may apply for Persons with Benchmark Disability, Ex-servicemen, and Destitute Widows. Exact post-wise limits are listed in the notification.

Eligibility Overview

Preliminary Examination

Main Examination

• Rs. 150/- (payable if shortlisted for the Main Examination for one service - Group II or Group IIA)
• Rs. 300/- (payable if shortlisted for both Group II and Group IIA Main Examinations)
• Payment mode: Online only (Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI). Offline payments are not accepted.
