Age

Maximum age limit: 30 years. Relaxations as per government rules: OBC 3 years, SC/ST 5 years, Ex-servicemen as per Govt. of India guidelines.

Post-wise qualifications

Pipe Fitter

• ITI/NSTF equivalent in Fitter/Plumber/Sanitary Fitter or NSFQ-aligned qualification. Minimum two years post-qualification experience in fabrication and erection of Pipe Spools in a Shipyard or related company. Desirable: experience with bending/shearing machines and hydraulic presses.

Welder

• ITI/NSTF equivalent in Welder or NSFQ-aligned qualification. Minimum two years post-qualification experience in gas cutting and welding (gas, manual, MIG/semi-automatic), gouging, flame heating, chipping/grinding, and related welding standards in shipyard/engineering contexts.

Electrician

• ITI/NSTF equivalent in Electrician/Wireman/Electronic Mechanical or NSFQ-aligned qualification. Minimum two years post-qualification experience handling substation operations, HT/LT switchgear installation, transformers, electrical equipment maintenance, and understanding electrical layouts and wiring standards in applicable companies.

Machinery Fitter

• ITI/NSTF equivalent in Fitter/ Diesel Mechanic/ Machinist/ Instrument Mechanic or NSFQ-aligned qualification. Minimum two years post-qualification experience with machine tools, bearing replacement, shaft alignment, pump/generator/engine maintenance, and related drawings.
