Age Details

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 42 years
• Age as on: 1 July 2026

Category-wise relaxations apply as per Uttarakhand government rules.

Educational Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.) from a recognized university, or an equivalent degree as defined under applicable acts, and
• Registration with the Uttarakhand Veterinary Council.

Preferential Qualification (if applicable)

• Postgraduate degree/diploma or higher in Veterinary Science, or
• Minimum two years of service in the Territorial Army, or
• ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).

Nationality

• Indian citizen, or
• Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• Person of Indian origin who migrated from certain countries with eligibility certificate.
